Terms of Service
Effective October 13, 2026
1. The service
VendorPapers™ is an automated document service. We read certificates of insurance and W-9 forms you provide, track expiration dates, send renewal and W-9 requests you authorize, and prepare status reports and a 1099-NEC worksheet. Results depend on the documents provided; items we can't read clearly are flagged for review.
2. What we don't do
We don't give insurance, legal or tax advice, review policy endorsements or contract requirements, verify coverage with carriers, or file tax forms. You and your advisors are responsible for compliance decisions and filings.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to share the documents you send and to have us contact the agents and vendors on them.
4. Plans and billing
Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled; cancel any time by email and you won't be billed again. One-time packs are paid up front. If we fail to deliver what your plan describes, tell us and we'll fix it or refund that period. Full details: refund policy.
5. Referral program
Customers in good standing receive a referral code. When a new business, not already a customer or contact of ours, starts with your code and makes its first payment, and that payment isn't refunded or disputed within 30 days, you earn one credit equal to one free month of COI chasing, applied to your next bill. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are limited to 12 per calendar year. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and spam are not allowed and void credits. We may change or end the program with notice; credits already earned are honored.
6. Intellectual property
VendorPapers™, our name, logo, website, reports, templates and software are our property. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or create a competing service from them, or scrape this site. You keep ownership of your documents.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before a claim, and we aren't liable for lapses in coverage, uninsured losses, tax penalties or indirect damages.
8. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new date here.
